VO2 Max Testing
Heart Rate Training Zones.
Anaerobic Threshold.

Train Smarter.

VO2 max testing allows us to gain an insight into your body’s individual ability to consume oxygen during exercise. This testing is suitable for individuals who want to gain valuable data that can guide more targeted and specific training and serve as a baseline before your undertake a training block.

More importantly our performance testing allows for accurate training zones to be determined so that you can tailor your training specifiaclly to YOUR individual needs.

Train smarter, more optimally and achieve your goals.

This test involves running on a treadmill whilst wearing a mask that will measure your ventilation, taking measurements of oxygen and carbon dioxide giving valuable data around VO2 max, anaerobic threshold, as well as, determining specific and individualised heart rate training zones.

How is this test performed?

This test involves a maximal step test with the speed and effort increasing dependent on the protocol we are implementing. Our treadmill is equipped with a safety harness making it a more safe environment to complete this testing.

The test takes 30-60 minutes.

You will receive your data and reporting from the test within minutes and will get access to your data via an app that can easily be shared between your coach or team allowing optimal communication between athlete, coach and allied health professional.

What do you need to do before the test?

To ensure your testing is most effective and your data is accurate you should ensure:

  • You have not consumed food or drink for at least 4 hours prior to testing - Water is okay
