The Running Room x [mo]re than a run
[mo]re than a run is a community-driven running event that unites people around the world to support mental health and well-being. It’s more than just a run—it’s a movement designed to mobilise runners, spark conversations, and raise funds for mental health initiatives. Whether you're a solo runner or part of a club, the focus isn’t on speed or competition—it’s about showing up, connecting, and making an impact.
Unlike traditional running events, [mo]re than a run isn’t about podium finishes or personal bests. It’s about bringing people together for a purpose—raising awareness for mental health and breaking down the stigma around it. By the end of 2026, we aim to mobilise 25,000 runners globally and raise $5 million for mental health organisations by 2030.
Runners of [mo]re than a run can choose between running one of 3 distances that are tied closely to a mental health statistic we are passionate about changing:
10km for the one in ten men around the world living with an anxiety disorder.
30km for the 30% rise in the number of Australian men dying by suicide over the last decade.
60km for the 60 men we lose to suicide each hour, every hour around the world.
