Sally Wood is a physiotherapist and qualified triathlon coach with a special interest in running injuries, bone stress injuries, endurance athletes and Women’s Health and Female Athlete Health. She is passionate about helping people move with confidence, overcome injury and return to the activities they love.
Having represented Scotland as an elite swimmer before transitioning to long-course triathlon, Sally understands the demands of training and competition firsthand. She has competed at the Ironman World Championship in Kona and won Ironman Busselton in 2024. Her experience as both an athlete and coach allows her to combine evidence-based rehabilitation with practical strategies to help patients recover while continuing to work towards their goals.
Sally is particularly passionate about supporting active women through every stage of life. She has a special interest in pelvic health, pregnancy and postpartum return to exercise, menstrual health and bone health, helping women understand their bodies, build resilience and continue training with confidence.
Sally takes an individualised approach to rehabilitation, combining education, strength-based exercise and hands-on treatment to help her patients achieve long-term results.
