PRESENTERS
Claire Park
-
Claire is passionate about facilitating your recovery and returns to fitness, as she recognises and values the importance of exercise, not only for your physical but also mental health. She is a keen believer in not only treating your symptoms but also identifying the root cause of your issue and addressing this to ensure prevention in the future. She uses a combination of manual therapy, movement analysis, and strength testing in order to assess, treat, and come up with the best recovery plan for you.
Outside the physio clinic, you’ll likely find her outdoors somewhere, whether that’s hitting the road for a run, at a gym class, at a music festival, or catching a wave surfing! Wherever she is, it’s likely soaking up the glorious Aussie sunshine.
Whether you’re on a quest to achieve a 3k or 30k run, lift heavier in the gym, or simply move better, she’s here to help you! Claire is available for appointments at our Clovelly or Waverley clinic.
Bill Chesters
-
Bill takes a practical and personalised approach, focusing on understanding your goals and helping you return to the activities that matter most to you.
Bill has been competing as a runner for over ten years and understands first-hand the demands of training and the frustration of injury. He still competes regularly in road running events, with a recent 5km time of just over 15 minutes. This experience shapes how he works with patients, whether they are managing a niggle or working towards a goal race.
He trained at the University of Birmingham, graduating with a First Class degree, and has gained experience working within the NHS across a variety of settings. He was also part of the physiotherapy team at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games polyclinic, further developing his interest in working with active individuals.
He has continued to develop his clinical skills through postgraduate training in shoulder and hip rehabilitation, as well as strength and conditioning. He also holds a British Athletics Assistant Coaching qualification, which supports his work with runners and those returning to sport.
Outside of the clinic, he supports Liverpool Football Club and enjoys a round of golf with friends.
Lachie Stewart
-
Lachie’s approach combines detailed assessment, hands-on treatment, strength testing, movement analysis, load management and progressive exercise programming. Lachie’s preference, where appropriate, is to keep people involved in training and sport while they recover, rather than removing activity altogether. He has a particular interest in lower-limb injuries, including knee injuries, hip and groin pain, tendon injuries, bone stress injuries and return-to-sport planning.
Alongside his clinical work, Lachie works within professional sporting environments. He is a Senior Academy Physiotherapist with the NSW Waratahs and is regularly involved as part of the match-day medical team across Super Rugby and international test matches, including the British & Irish Lions Tour. This experience has shaped his calm, practical and performance-focused approach to injury management, rehabilitation and return-to-sport decision-making.
