PRESENTER’S

Alice Hunter

  • Her background as an ex-sprinter means she has a passion for working with runners and has extensive experience within elite sports; having worked at the IAAF Athletics World Championships and the Commonwealth games.

She has started her Masters degree in Advanced Physiotherapy, recently completing a module in rehabilitation and exercise prescription. She is always looking for ways to improve access and inclusivity in sport – adopting a comprehensive, holistic approach that ensures patient’s physio experience is driven by what matters to them.

Alice has a special interest in working with female athletes (from the recreational exerciser to the elite athlete, through all stages of their life) and recently launched a service in London supporting individuals with Relative Energy Deficiency in sport (REDs) and menstrual dysfunction.

When not in clinic, you’ll either find Alice at the gym or on the water!

Claire Park

  • From avid runners to gym enthusiasts to sports players, Claire has helped guide a range of active individuals back to their fitness goals and beyond, so can help you not only return to but also exceed your goals.

She is passionate about facilitating your recovery and returns to fitness, as she recognises and values the importance of exercise, not only for your physical but also mental health. She is a keen believer in not only treating your symptoms but also identifying the root cause of your issue and addressing this to ensure prevention in the future. She uses a combination of manual therapy, movement analysis, and strength testing in order to assess, treat, and come up with the best recovery plan for you.

Outside the physio clinic, you’ll likely find her outdoors somewhere, whether that’s hitting the road for a run, at a gym class, at a music festival, or catching a wave surfing! Wherever she is, it’s likely soaking up the glorious Aussie sunshine.

Whether you’re on a quest to achieve a 3k or 30k run, lift heavier in the gym, or simply move better, she’s here to help you! Claire is available for appointments at our Clovelly or Waverley clinic.

Sally Wood

  • Sally completed her Masters of Physiotherapy in Scotland and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at LSU in the United States.

Sally is also a qualified triathlon coach and can give a hand with planning training sessions or creating a plan.

In her spare time, you can find Sally on her bike well before the crows sing, running laps of Centennial Park, or ocean swimming with the dolphins. Sally is also a volunteer lifesaver and loves spending her time down by the beach watching the sunrise.
