ASICS Wear Test
Join us in the clinic for a unique ASICS Wear Test Experience — designed for runners who want to understand how footwear really impacts performance.
The Running Room and Every Run Club, in partnership with ASICS, are offering an exclusive chance to test the latest ASICS running range. Using our Zebris instrumented treadmill, we’ll take a deep dive into your running biomechanics to explore how each shoe performs and how it influences your stride, efficiency, and recovery. It’s a rare opportunity to gain personalised insights into your mechanics with expert guidance in a clinical setting.
After your in-clinic analysis, you’ll take the shoes for a 5K wear-test along the Yarra, experiencing how they feel in real conditions. Post-run, stick around for refreshments and great conversation as we bring together runners from across the local community.
Whether you’re chasing a PB, building back from injury, or you just love the gear — this is for you. Spaces are limited, so secure your spot now. We can’t wait to see you there.

PRESENTERS
Dominic Blond
-
With a keen interest in biomechanical assessment, Dominic integrates research-grade technology into his treatment approach, making elite-level assessments accessible to everyday individuals. He specialises in treating runners of all levels, from beginners to seasoned athletes, ensuring each patient receives personalised care tailored to their specific needs.
Dominic’s clinical experience spans a diverse range of patients, from Olympic track athletes to recreational sports enthusiasts. He combines traditional physiotherapy techniques—such as soft tissue massage, mobilisations, and dry needling—with targeted strength and conditioning programs to enhance recovery and performance.
Since opening the Melbourne arm of The Running Room, Dominic has continued to refine his comprehensive approach to running and gait analysis. His commitment to patient care led him to establish a specialized practice focused on biomechanical assessments typically reserved for elite athletes. Using advanced tools like Zebris instrumented treadmills, Dominic provides insights that guide rehabilitation and promote injury prevention.
Ben Cherry
-
He works closely with clients to set achievable short- and long-term goals to help reduce your pain and get back to doing what you love.
Having been active his whole life, from swimming in his younger years to basketball, cricket, football, and now running, Ben has experienced plenty of his own injuries, fueling his passion for diagnosing and rehabilitating them. He combines hands-on treatments with rehabilitation and gait re-training in his treatment approach.
Ben has a keen interest in treating lower limb tendinopathies, foot and ankle pathologies and recurrent joint pain. Ben also has extensive footwear knowledge from working concurrently in specialty running retail and loves the role it can play in offloading injuries and keeping you active.
On weekends, you can find Ben running around the local area and he also enjoys surfing, supporting the Sydney Swans or watching test cricket.
Ben has completed a Bachelor of Biological Science, Bachelor of Health Science (Osteopathy) and Master of Health Science (Osteopathy). He has also undertaken further study in Advanced Concepts in Running Injuries (Montana Running Lab), Dry Needling Certification and worked as Head Trainer for the Mulgrave Football Club for the last 2 years in the EFL.
Ben Drenovac
-
Born and raised in Victoria, Australia, Ben relocated to London in 2024, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a passion for rehabilitation. His journey into physiotherapy was inspired by his own experience with an ACL injury as a teenager, fuelling his dedication to helping others recover and thrive.
As an active individual, Ben's enthusiasm for sports led him to further qualifications as a Sports Physiotherapist, and he is currently training to become a qualified strength and conditioning coach. This extensive knowledge allows him to craft comprehensive rehabilitation programmes, ensuring a full return to performance post-injury. Ben is also skilled in dry needling, which he uses to benefit his clients where appropriate.
Like many, Ben turned to running when his cricket season was cancelled due to Covid-19. This newfound passion saw him complete three marathons, culminating in an impressive sub-3-hour marathon at the Gold Coast in 2022. He now sets his sights on the Chicago Marathon, aiming to use his Gold Coast time as a qualifier. Ben relishes the challenge of self-improvement through running, and cherishes the friendships and post-run coffees that come with it.
When he’s not working, you’ll likely find Ben exploring London's many running routes or avidly watching football games across Europe.
We’re thrilled to have Ben on board and can’t wait for you to meet him at the Running Room!
